Alphabet Matching

Simple and easy matching activity.
I used materials that were readily available at home:

1. baking tray
2. alphabet magnets
3. paper with alphabet outlines (used colored pencil to trace the letters onto the paper)

I wanted to do this activity because Caleb pretty much memorized the his store-bought alphabet puzzles—since these were in order from A-Z.

I mixed up the letters .

Caleb would sound out the letters as he would match them.

Alphabet stickers

Caleb gets an alphabet to stick on to the paper if he can make the alphabet sound/give a word that begins with the alphabet. If your kid loves stickers. This is a great way to motivate them to review/learn the alphabet. Who says learning can’t be fun?
