This is a fun and easy activity to do with little ones. I did this with Caleb when he was younger but this time I added blocks to make it easier for the little ones to grasp.
You will need:
1. water
2. Muffin/cupcake pans
3. Big blocks
4. Container for Mixing
5. Food coloring
6. Paper to paint on
The boys had a lot of fun, putting the blocks in the pan.
Make the ice mixture by adding 6 drops of food coloring for a cup and half of water.
Then stir and mix well.
We poured the mixture into the pans. Remember to put the mixture only a quarter of the way up so the blocks stay upright. Then freeze them overnight.
It was a hit during our baby play date especially since it was a very hot morning! The cold ice and the hot weather were definitely a sensory experience for them.
Even my big baby joined in!
