Washi Tape Art

The boys enjoy making art with different materials. They used washi tape to make this simple art activity. Perfect for the little ones to practice their cutting skills.

You need:

washi tape (paper masking tape works well also but might be more challenging for the little ones to cut)

watercolor paper

oil pastel crayons

watercolor paint

paintbrush

markers

  1. Cut and stick washi tapes onto the paper.

2. Use the oil pastels to draw around the washi tape for some paint resist.

3. Paint over the washi tapes, peel them off when the paint has dried. Then use the marker to draw some more details on the white washi protected areas.
