Sensory Play: Ball and Scrub Painting

Here’s a novel way to paint.
It’s messy so that means it’s super fun!

Here are the materials that we used for this activity. Make sure to tape the paper to the container so it doesn’t get dislodged during the activity.

I let Caleb practice with the ball before putting paint on it. Just to be sure that he wont drop it on the floor.

Using the scrubber to paint. Got a small bag of these scrubbers at the supermarket.

Chalk Art

The sun finally came out today. We went out to the work yard for some chalk drawings.

Caleb with his box of chalk. We started drawing on the driveway.

But the unfinished wall was much better to draw on! Caleb drew lines on the individual blocks.

Blow Painting

Tired of painting with a paintbrush?
Time to mix it up! Try blow painting.

Materials:
1. Watercolor Paint/ any paint that can be watered down (Makes it easier to blow it across the paper).
2. Straw — any kind will do
3. paper

Step 1.
Put a drop of watered down paint on the paper.
