Leaf Soup

We used the leaves from the Loose Parts Leaf Play Activity to make some leaf soup! This activity is best done outdoors as the children explore the garden and add more ingredients (like rocks, soil, water) to their leaf soup.

You need:

• leaves

• toy pots

• toy spoons/utensils

• plastic tray

I told boys that they were going to do some outdoor cooking by making their own soup. They added in the leaves and the rest of the ingredients were from the garden.

They had so much fun looking for tiny rocks, bits of soil, sand, and water to mix to their soup.

A simple a fun activity enjoying the outdoors!
