Materials:
1. Muffin pan
2. colored tape
3. circle shaped paper cut outs
4. macaroni

Counting and filling the pans with macaroni.

When Caleb finished filling all the numbers with macaroni, we moved on to matching the numbers and the dotted paper. I took out all the dotted paper and let him match these to the numerals.

Then, we added some number magnets into the activity.
It was Caleb’s idea to put the same numbers together.

Painting with Trucks

Materials:
1. easy painters/markers
2. clear masking tape
3. large paper
4. toy trucks (used lego trucks)

 

 

I taped the easy painters onto the trucks and Caleb made “tire” tracks on the paper.

U is for Underwear

We are now studying tetter U and one of the words that begin with the short /u/ is underwear. Thought this would be a fun activity. I showed Caleb real underwear (no pictures of course!)– his, mine and Dada’s. Then we did this activity.
