Alphabet Matching

Simple and easy matching activity.
I used materials that were readily available at home:

1. baking tray
2. alphabet magnets
3. paper with alphabet outlines (used colored pencil to trace the letters onto the paper)

I wanted to do this activity because Caleb pretty much memorized the his store-bought alphabet puzzles—since these were in order from A-Z.

I mixed up the letters .

Caleb would sound out the letters as he would match them.

Ribbon Scraps

Do you like to keep ribbons from presents that you’ve received? I have a whole tin box full of ribbons that I cannot bear to throw away.
The ribbons just keep on coming and I already have a hard time keeping the box lid on. So I thought of this activity to put those ribbons to good use 🙂

Cut up some ribbons and used them for a matching/sorting activity.

Here are some pictures of Caleb at work.

Sticker Matching

Our matching activity for today.
I used car stickers since Caleb is really into them.
Sorry for the semi-naked pictures but it was actually time for his bath when he saw the stickers on the table and couldn’t resist doing it.
