Nuts and Bolts

Look at what we found in Dada’s toolbox! I explained what these were for – kept things together. Then, we went all around the house inspecting furniture, fixtures, and appliances looking for where these were being used.

Of course, I couldn’t keep Caleb away from the nuts and bolts for long! He started to put them together. This was a great way to practice those little fingers 🙂

Calamansi Fun

This is an activity that Caleb likes to play while he’s eating.
Just fill a bowl with water and add Calamansi. The old Calamansi will float while the new ones sink to the bottom.

Caleb used tongs to move them to a different container. It’s a simple tong activity just made more fun with water 🙂

It’s wonderful practice to strengthen the same muscles needed to hold a pencil 🙂

Here Caleb used a different tong to make it more challenging.

Lunch was over really fast and that made Caleb a happy boy 🙂

Dinosaur Footprints

Make dinosaur footprints on play dough. This activity is good for comparing and using the words: same, different, bigger, and smaller 🙂 You can also do this using animal figures.
