Barrel of Monkeys

Homeschooling doesn’t have to be expensive. You just have to be creative with some of the things that you already have at home. But ofcourse, a “little” shopping didn’t hurt anyone! Just the husband’s wallet…hahaha!

I let Caleb use the barrel of monkeys for sorting. Then, we counted the monkeys after 🙂

Counting Cards

Our counting activity for today. Used counting cards.
Caleb puts the little squares onto the black dots.
We are working overtime on his math skills.
My mistake! I focused too much on learning how to read that I forgot that he needs to understand numbers not just rote count.
